Sun News Desk : A female doctor died of dengue fever while on life support at the intensive care unit (ICU) of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Tuesday.

The deceased identified as was Dewaan Almina Mishu.

She breathed her last around 1am at the ICU of the hospital.

Directorate General of Health Services expressed deep shock at the death of the doctor.

Dr. Mishu was a 46th batch student of Mymensingh Medical College. She was recently studying as a resident (39 batch) in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Bangladesh Institute of Child and Maternal Health (ICMH).
