Staff Reporter: The cold wave has started with thick fog all over the country. Due to which the temperature has dropped a lot and the sun has not been seen in the last 24 hours across the country. The sky is cloudy due to thick fog, the temperature is decreasing. In the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature in Rajarhat was 12.4 and the maximum temperature was Khepupara.
The weather forecast for the next 24 hours from 9 a.m. on Wednesday (December 9) said, there could be moderate to heavy fog from midnight to morning. The weather situation across the country may change slightly in the next two days.
In addition, the weather across the country may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy skies. In the synoptic state of the weather, an additional part of the sub-continental high pressure zone is located in and around West Bengal. The normal light pressure of the season is located in the South Bay, a large part of which is located in the North Bay area.
The weather forecast for the inland river ports of the country till 6 pm on Wednesday said, that light to moderate fog is likely in the river basins of the country. Ships in these areas have been asked to move carefully, but no signals have to be shown.
