29 kg Tiger Fish sold for Tk. 32 Thousand

Staff Correspondent, Rajbari: A huge tiger fish weighing 29 kg has been caught in the net of a jail in Daulatdia Ferry Ghat area of ​​Padma river in Rajbari.

Monday (November 23) morning. The fish was caught in the net of Asgar Sardar. Later, when he brought the fish to Daulatdia fish market, a local named Chandu Mollah bought the fish at Tk 1,050 per kg.

Asgar Sardar said, “I left the net in the ferry area number 6 of Daulatdia on Sunday midnight. When the net is pushed hard in the morning, I realize that a big fish has been caught. After lifting the net for a long time, I saw a huge tiger fish caught."

Chandu Mollah, a fish trader from Daulatdia Ferry Ghat area, said, "After buying the live fish from fisherman Asgar Sardar at Tk 1,050 per kg for Tk 30,450, I contacted various people in Dhaka." In the end, I sold the fish to a person named Hasib for 31,900 Tk.
