Staff Reporter: On the last day in the country, one person has died due to Coronavirus. Besides, 211 people have been newly identified. The new deceased is a resident of Dhaka (male). The remaining svn divisions are Chittagong, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet and Mymensingh.

This information was given in the regular press release on Sunday (December 19) afternoon sent by the Department of Health.

According to the notification, the total number of deaths in the country so far stands at 26,046. So far, the total number of identified patients stands at 15 lakh, 81 thousand 83 people.

Meanwhile, samples of 17 thousand 347 people were collected in the last one day. 17 thousand 332 samples were tested. In contrast to the test, the detection rate is 1.22 percent. Besides, 168 people have recovered from Corona in the last day. So far, a total of 15 lakh 45 thousand 571 people have recovered.

It is to be mentioned that 4 people died due to coronavirus on Saturday. Corona was identified in the bodies of 122 people.
