Dhaka Ranks Fifth in Air Pollution

Own Correspondent: Today, capital Dhaka ranks fifth in the list of polluted cities in the world with unhealthy air.

This information is known from the Air Quality Index (IQAIR) index of the air quality monitoring organization on Saturday (March 16) at 8:18 am.

At the top of the pollution list is Chiang Mai, Thailand with an air quality score of 229. That is, the air there is very unhealthy. Second is Lahore, Pakistan. The city has a score of 193. That means the air quality there is unhealthy.

China's Beijing is in the third position. The city has a score of 185. This means that the air quality there is also unhealthy. Dhaka ranks fifth in the list. The city's pollution score is 171. That is, the air quality here is unhealthy.

A score between 0-50 on the IQAir index is considered good air quality. 51-100 is considered moderate or tolerable. A score of 101-150 is considered unhealthy for sensitive groups.

151-200 is considered unhealthy. A score of 201-300 is considered very unhealthy. More than 301 is considered disastrous.
