9 Students Expelled over Death of Kuwaiti Teacher

Staff Reporter, Kuwait: Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (Kuwait) Professor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE). Md. The university administration has suspended 9 students including the general secretary of Chhatra League in connection with the untimely death of Selim Hossain. They were suspended for violating student discipline and code of conduct.

This information has been given in a press release sent from the Public Relations and Information Branch of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology on Saturday (December 4) at noon.

The students who have been suspended are Sadman Nahian Sejan, General Secretary of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology Chhatra League and student of CSE Department (Roll-1307024), Tahamidul Haque Ishraq, CE Department, Roll-1501090, Sadman Shakib, LE Department, Roll-1519033. A. S. M. Ragib Ahsan Munna, LE Division, Roll-1519048, Mahmudul Hasan, CE Division, Roll-1601029, Mohammad Kamruzzaman, ME Division, Roll-1605039, Riaz Khan Niloy, CSE Division, Roll-1607075, Faysal -1605093, Naimur Rahman Antu, MSE Division, Roll-1627010.

According to the press release, Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE). Dr. Md. Selim Hossain's untimely death was raised at the 76th emergency meeting of the university syndicate held on December 2 and 3. After reviewing the CCTV footage and other information, it was decided to temporarily expel 9 students from the university for misconduct in the light of the student discipline and code of conduct of the university.
