The PM also said, the struggle to establish the primacy of Bengali as the mother language started by the Father of the Nation and it paved the way for Bangladesh's independence, while virtually addressing the presentation ceremony of the Ekushey Padak-2021 on Saturday.

The Ekushey Padak-2021 awarding ceremony was held on Saturday (February 20) morning at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital organized by the Ministry of Culture. This medal is awarded to 21 eminent personalities for their contribution in various fields.
