Army raids Suu Kyi's party office

International Desk: Myanmar's ousted leader Aung San Suu Kyi's political party, the National League for Democracy headquarters in Yangon, has been vandalized by Myanmar's army .

The operation was carried out on Tuesday (February 9) night, officials said.

The NLD said in a post on their official Facebook page, "At around 9:30 pm, the military dictator attacked and destroyed the NLD headquarters. '

Suu Kyi won the National League for Democracy (NLD) majority in the November elections in Nyanmar. The army took control of the country through a military coup on February 1 this year, alleging rigging in the election. The country is ruled by Army Chief Min Aung Hlaing. A year-long state of emergency was declared in Myanmar, including Suu Kyi.

Meanwhile, the military junta detained and detained Myanmar's President Win Mint, leader Suu Kyi and senior NLD leaders.
