Staff Correspondent: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) of the Crime and Intelligence Division arrested 59 people on Anti-drug operations on charges of drug selling and consumption.

At that time, 587 grams of heroin, 5,327 pieces of Yaba and 25 kg 240 grams of cannabis were recovered from them.

From 6 am on Sunday (November 7) to 6 am on Monday (November 8), they were arrested in different police stations in the capital and drugs were recovered.

42 cases have been filed against the arrested under the Narcotics Control Act at the concerned police station.
