Staff Correspondent: 154 arrested during raids of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) of the Crime and Intelligence Division.
They were arrested on Tuesday (November 2) from 6 am to 6 am on Wednesday (November 3) for selling and consuming drugs.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of DMP's Media and Public Relations Department Hafiz Al Asad confirmed the matter.
He also said that heroin, yaba, phencidyl, cannabis and domestic liquor were seized during the DMP operation.
109 cases have been filed against the arrested under the Narcotics Control Act at the concerned police station.
