Staff Correspondent: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) and the Intelligence Division of the crime arrested 83 people were in the capital on drug selling and consumption charges.
They were arrested between 6 am on Saturday (November 6) and 6 am on Sunday (November 7).
429 grams 309 Puria Heroin, 2169 pieces Yaba, 100 kg 495 grams 61 Puria cannabis, 10 bottles of Phencidyl and 55 bottles of foreign liquor were seized from them.
56 cases have been registered against the arrested under the Narcotics Control Act.
