Sun News Desk : Justice Obaidul Hassan of the Supreme Court's Appellate Division has been appointed as the country's 24th chief justice of Bangladesh.

A circular has been published by the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs on Tuesday (12 September).
The circular stated that President Mohammed Shahabuddin appointed Justice Obaidul Hassan as the 24th chief justice of the country. The appointment will be effective from the date of taking oath, said the circular signed by the Secretary of the Law and Justice Division Golam Sarwar on Tuesday (September 12) says.
