437 killed in road in October

Sun News Desk : At least 437 people have been killed and 681 others injured in 429 road accidents over the country in October of this year.

Of them, 144 people died and 76 others injured in 131 motorcycle accidents.

Bangladesh Jatri Kalyan Samity published a report in this regard today. The report was published after analysing accident reports published in the country's national and regional dailies and online media.

The report said a total of 53 people died and 155 others injured in 29 accidents on railways throughout the country during the same period.

some 12 more people died, 2 received injuries and 2 were missing in 6 accidents on waterways in last month.
