4 killed in Tangail Road Accident

District Representative: 4 passengers were killed in a head-on collision between a pickup and a CNG-driven auto-rickshaw in Mirzapur upazila of Tangail. At this time, 2 more people were injured.

The incident happened on Sunday (February 18) afternoon in Telepara area of ​​Gokai-Sakhipur road of the upazila.

The deceased are Akash (30), son of Vidyut Mia of Bhatgram village of Mirzapur upazila, Najmul (25) son of Samej Uddin of Nayapara village, Lutfar Rahman (40) son of Moinuddin of Gairbetil village and Rahima Begum (35), wife of Tara Mia of Telipara village. ). They were all passengers of the autorickshaw.

Humayun Kabir, in-charge of Bamboo Oil Police Outpost, said that a pickup and an auto-rickshaw collided at a place called Telipara in Bamboo Oil Union of the upazila.

3 passengers of the autorickshaw lost their lives at the scene, including two men and one woman. Additionally, another individual succumbed to injuries after being transported to the hospital. Law enforcement authorities are actively investigating the incident.
