Own Correspondent: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested 21 people in anti-drug operations in different areas of the capital.

The matter was confirmed by DMP's media cell on Thursday (February 1).

According to DMP, they were arrested from 6 a.m. on Wednesday (January 31) to 6 a.m. on Thursday (February 1) in different police station areas of the capital, along with the recovery of narcotics.

During the arrest, 1762 pieces of yaba, 20 kg of 450 grams of ganja and 25 bottles of Phensidil were seized from them.

16 cases under the Narcotics Control Act have been filed against the arrested police.
