Own Correspondent: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal said that the polling of 231 elections, including two city corporations, was completed in a free and peaceful manner.

He gave this information at the Agargaon election building on Saturday (March 9) afternoon.
CEC said polling has been completed in 231 elections. Two or four unpleasant incidents occurred in some places. 53 people have been arrested in 18 untoward incidents.

He said that there were two significant incidents in Comilla. We have devolved the responsibility of election commissioners to manage the elections.
Kazi Habibul Awal said, in our view, the election was free, impartial and peaceful. We have not yet received any allegations of influence or interference anywhere. The firing took place outside the center. However, the vote inside the center was not affected.

Election Commissioner Md. Anichur Rahman said that every candidate has applied more or less force. There have been incidents of obstruction in going to polling stations. We have asked for the arrest of those who have done this. Law and order forces have taken control of the situation. No complaints received. In Comilla till 3 pm about 35 percent voting.
