The Liberation War Museum is opening on Friday

Own Correspondent: January 8,1972, the great architect of independence Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was released from imprisonment.. In honor of the day, the entrance of the Liberation War Museum is being opened for the visitors today, Friday 8 January following Corona hygene rules. The museum will be open to the public from 10 am to 5 pm every day except weekly holidays on Sundays, the Liberation War Museum authorities said.

The public relations department of the Liberation War Museum said this in a press release sent to the media on Thursday (January 7).

Rafiqul Islam, manager (program) of the museum, told Sunnews, “The Liberation War Museum was closed on March 19 last year due to the corona outbreak. Although the office activities are going on , the entrance of the Liberation War Museum is being opened for the visitors after about nine months . ”

Rafiqul Islam further told Sunnews that on the eve of the inauguration, a program titled 'Bangabandhu the great hero of world history in London' will be held at the Liberation War Museum auditorium at 11 am on Friday to commemorate Bangabandhu's presence in London as a free leader from Pakistani prison. Mohiuddin Ahmed, a young member of the then Bangladesh Mission and a former foreign secretary who witnessed the historic event at Heathrow Airport that morning, will deliver a speech on Bangabandhu's activities in London.
