The Charge Sheet Of The Drug Case Of Porimoni Has Been Received

Staff Reporter: The court has accepted the charge sheet in the case of the Narcotics Control Act against three people including the popular heroine of Dhaka, Parimani. This information has been confirmed by the Public Prosecutor (PP) of this court Tapas Kumar Pal.

On Monday (November 15), Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge KM Imrul Kayesh accepted the charge sheet. At the same time, the case has been transferred to Special Judge Court 10. The court has fixed December 14 for the formation of the next charge.

Earlier, Parimani appeared in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge KM Imrul Kayes at 10.19 am. The other two accused in the case are Ashraful Islam Dipu and Kabir Hossain.

Earlier on Tuesday (October 26), Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Rabiul Alam set the date for the charge sheet. The day was set to receive the charge sheet of the case against the three including the bride. On that day, they surrendered and applied for bail. After the hearing, the court granted them bail. As the main judge of the court KM Imrul Kayesh is on leave, the acting judge has fixed November 15 to take cognizance of the charge sheet.

On the same day, Parimani's lawyer applied for her permanent bail. Following the hearing, the judge granted him permanent bail. Besides, two accused in the case Ashraful Islam Dipu and Kabir Hossain were also granted bail.

Earlier, on August 31, Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge KM Imrul Kayes granted bail to Parimani till the report is submitted after the hearing. The next day, the actress was released from Kashimpur Central Women's Jail in Gazipur.

According to the case sources, Parimani has been using drugs since 2016. For this, he made a 'minibar' at home. He used to have regular 'wine parties' there. Film producer Nazrul Islam Raj and many others used to supply various kinds of drugs including alcohol in his house and take part in parties.

On August 4, RAB conducted an operation on the basis of specific information and arrested Parimani from her Banani home. The next day, on the afternoon of August 5, Parimani, film producer Raj and their two accomplices were taken to Banani police station.
