Sports Desk: Cricketers of Bangladesh men's national team have returned to international cricket. This time Bangladesh women's cricket team is also going to return to international cricket.
Salma Khatun will play a five-match ODI series against the South African Emerging Women's Cricket Team on home soil in April.
SA Emerging Wonen's cricket team will tour to Bangladesh next month. They will arrive on 28th march to to play a five-match ODI series.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) said in a press release on Monday (February 1). At the same time, the full schedule of the five-match series has also been announced.
The South African Emerging Women's Cricket Team will arrive in Dhaka on March 28 (Sunday) and will leave for Sylhet on the same day. The visiting team will be tested for Covid-19. All matches of the series will be played at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
After arriving in Bangladesh, members of the South African Emerging Women's Cricket Team will go for a three-day quarantine on March 29-30. The 2nd round test for coronavirus will take place before start practicing on April 1.
The first ODI of the five-match series will be played on April 4 (Sunday). Earlier, the South African Emerging Women's Cricket Team will practice on the field on April 1, 2 and 3. The remaining four matches of the series will be played on April 6, 7, 11 and 13.
All the matches will start at 9 am local time and Sylhet International Cricket Stadium will host all the matches of the series.
In addition, the day before the last match of the series, on April 12, the South African emerging women's cricket team will undergo the Covid-19 test again.
The touring team will leave Bangladesh on April 14.
