Shakira sold 145 songs to Hypnosis

Entertainment desk: The rights of 145 popular songs of world famous pop star Shakira have been sold. The Colombian pop musician has sold the songs to Hypnosis, a London-based music management company.

Shakira signed an agreement with Hypnosis on Wednesday (January 13). The company wants to buy the rights of all of Shakira's songs. However, the company did not specify how much money was paid for the rights to Shakira's song.

A spokesperson for Hypnosis said, "We are buying all the songs that Shakira has recorded in her career." This is by far the biggest success for our company. Shakira is a popular artist. Buying the rights of all the songs is a great achievement for any organization.

In a statement, Shakira said hypnosis knows how to value artists. They have taken charge of my songs from now on.

After the release of her first album in 1991, Shakira made a splash in world music. The three-time Grammy-winning artist's first album sold more than 80 million copies. Her 'Waka Waka' in the World Cup is still ringing in the ears of the audience. 'Queen of Latin music' has released many popular albums including “Hips Don’t Lie”, “Wherever, Wherever”, “Underneath Your Clothes”

Shakira's total assets amount to about Tk 3,000 crore (excluding the sale of song rights), including the rights to the song, house, car, money and honorarium as a brand ambassador.
