Kangana Accused of Theft

Entertainment desk: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is coming in the news for various reasons. This time, the actress was accused of theft.

On Thursday (January 14), Kangana announced to pursue 'Manikarnika franchise. Soon after the announcement of the title of the film as Manikarnika Returns -The Legend of Didda', the controversy arose that she stolethe story. Writer Ashish Kaul accused the actress of stealing his story.

According to the author, his book 'Didda: The Warrior Queen of Kashmir' has already been published in English. He also has the copyright. He contacted Kangana Ranaut to write a Hindi version of the book in Lockdown.

The author claims that he did not receive any reply when he sent an e-mail to Kangana for the Hindi version. Suddenly, he was surprised to hear the announcement of the actress.

Ashish said, 'I have the exclusive copyright of Dida's biography. She is the Princess of Lohar (Punch), at present a part of Jammu.

According to him, the way he wrote the book, it is very easy to make a movie from it. He has also contacted Reliance Entertainment in this regard.

Meanwhile, writer Ashish Kaul has not yet commented on Kangana's claim.

Earlier, announcing a movie about Kashmiri warrior Rani Didda, Kangana wrote on Twitter, 'Our India has witnessed many heroic stories like that of Jhansi Ki Rani. Didd is the story of such a princess of Kashmir who defeated Mehmood Ghazni twice.
