International Desk: At least 120 people have been killed in Russian airstrikes targeting al-Qaeda-backed Syrian militant group Nusra Front in northwestern Syria.

The attack happened last Thursday. The Syrian state news agency SANA confirmed this information.
The Russian military in Syria said that the airstrikes targeted the training center of the Nusra Front in Sheikh Yusuf area of Idlib province.

A war monitoring organization based in the UK has also confirmed the Russian air strike in Idlib.
The agency said missiles were launched targeting the position of Nusra Front in addition to 14 attacks from warplanes.
