Rituparna said on social media, Shakib is my good friend. We both met when we came to Calcutta. I heard that Shakib has come to Kolkata to shoot. I am very busy with the promotion of my film 'Dabaru'. Because of this, there was no chance to meet Shakib this time; But suddenly I met Shakib during the promotion of the movie. A friend of mine and her husband were with me at that time. A great time was had by all.

Rituparna made her debut on the silver screen in 1995 with the movie 'Swetpathor Thala'. Since then she has given one after another commercially successful movies. Last year, the actress came to Dhaka to shoot the movie 'Sparsh', a joint production of Bangladesh and India.
