Sun News Desk : One person have been killed in a landslide in Akbarshah area of Chattogram on Friday.

Three units of fire service rushed to the spot and started a rescue operation, said Abdullah Harun Pasha, deputy assistant director of Chattogram Fire Service and Civil Defence.
Nurul Alam, in-charge of Chattogram Medical College Hospital police outpost, said a man named Md Khoka, 45, was pronounced dead by duty doctors when brought to CMCH.

According to fire service, the accident took place this afternoon when 10 workers were cutting a hill in Beltoli Ghona area.
According to Senior Assistant Commissioner of Chattogram District Administration Touhidul Islam, the number of casualties may increase.
