Staff reporter: In the last 24 hours, one person has died due to Corona infection in the country. The total death toll stood at 28,051.

This information has been given in the regular press release of the Department of Health on Tuesday (December 21).

In the last 24 hours, 291 people have been newly identified. The total number of identities stood at 15 lakh 81 thousand 634 people.

During this time 264 people recovered from Corona. So far, a total of 15 lakh 46 thousand 71 people have recovered.

In the last 24 hours, the detection rate was 1.39 percent as compared to 20,909 samples.

Incidentally, the deadly coronavirus has spread worldwide since the outbreak in China in December 2019. On March 8, 2020, the first corona patient was identified in Bangladesh. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person died in Corona.
