Staff Reporter: The government has not yet taken any decision to enforce lockdown again in the country to curb the transmission of coronavirus, Health Minister Zahid Malik said. He was responding to a question from reporters after a meeting on the MBBS exam at the Health Ministry's conference room on Wednesday (March 24th).
Asked if there was any decision on general leave or lockdown in a situation where the number of corona cases is increasing day by day, the health minister said, "No decision has been taken yet. I will let you know if there is any such decision from the highest level. ' Zahid Malek said, 'It is decided from the highest level. The health ministry does not pass any order in this regard."
"We are taking tests," he said. I am paying more attention to hygiene and services. We have highlighted the places where corona is increasing. If you can control those places, the infection will not increase. So the origin of the corona must be addressed."
He further said, "But mobile courts will be operated. If everyone follows the health protocols, the transmission won’t go beyond control."
Corona infections are on the rise from tourist destinations, so the minister also stressed on limiting them.
The minister also urged everyone to maintain health safety guidelines and avoid social events.
