Many countries didn't dare to play foul

Own Correspondent: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader commented that no other country dared to play foul with the election because India was on our side.

He said all this at the bi-annual conference of the Pooja Celebration Parishad at Dhakeshwari temple in the capital on Saturday (March 16).

Quader said that it is not possible to solve the problem by creating a bitter relationship with India. The Prime Minister and the Modi government have broken down the wall of mistrust that had been built with India.

He also said, when I speak I speak from faith. Who ruled Bangladesh from 75 to 21 years? Those 21 years created hostility in our relations with neighboring India.

The general secretary said that minority thought is a shackle of slavery. It must be demolished. Although those involved in land grabbing and temple vandalism of Hindus have political identities, they all have a common enemy, the miscreants.
