Jordan will take 12,000 workers from Bangladesh

International Desk: Jordan will recruit 12 thousand garments worker from Bangladesh in the coming year. Sanal Kumar, Chairman & Managing Director of Classic Fashion, the country's largest garment factory, said this in a courtesy call on Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmed on Thursday.

He said out of 26,000 employees of his organization, 16,000 are from Bangladesh. Another 12,000 workers will be recruited from Bangladesh next year. Citing the talent, labor and conscientiousness of Bangladeshi workers as the main reason for hiring more workers in Jordan, Sanal Kumar said more Bangladeshi workers would be hired in his factory in the future.

He thanked the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment and the Minister-Secretary for their sincere cooperation in the recruitment of Bangladeshi workers in the Jordanian garment factory.
