Bank recruitment examination postponed

Staff Reporter: The recruitment examination for the post of senior officer of the integrated seven banks has been postponed. In the Covid-19 situation, the decision has been taken by the Bankers Selection Committee (BSC). The examination was scheduled to be held on December 5 at six centers in the capital.

On Saturday (November 28), the Bankers' Selection Committee announced the postponement of the examination.

These seven banks are Sonali Bank Limited, Janata Bank Limited, Rupali Bank Limited, Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank, Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation and Investment Corporation Bangladesh and Karmasangsthan Bank.

Arif Hossain Khan, member secretary of the Bankers' Selection Committee, said on Saturday that the recruitment tests of seven banks had been postponed due to the Covid-19 situation.

One lakh 40 thousand 155 candidates were to appear for the examination for the post of senior officer of seven banks in 67 centers in Dhaka. The recruitment examination for 771 posts was to be held on December 5 from 10 am to 11 pm in MCQ system.
