HSC results on Sunday

Sun News Desk : The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be published tomorrow.

Prof Tapan Kumar Sarker, Coordinator of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Dhaka Education Board Chairman, said all preparations have been completed to publish the results. The results will be published on Sunday after formalities.

According to the source, the chairmen of all education boards will hand over the summery of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday morning. Later, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni will hold a press conference at International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka and announce the details of the results after 11am.

The HSC and equivalent exams for this year started on August 17, but due to a natural disaster, the Chittagong, madrasa, and technical board exams were postponed for a few days.

A total of 1,359,342 students - 6,88,887 boys and 6,70,455 girls - registered for this year’s HSC exams, 155,935 more than the previous year.
