Five killed as bus hits CNG

Sun News Desk : At least 5 people have been killed and one injured after a bus smashed a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Chattogram's Boalkhali upazila on Thursday.

Three of the deceased were identified as Md Selim, 45, of Boalkhali’s Mirpara, Anjana Akter, 35, of Mirsarai’s Jorarganj, and Babul Dey, 60, of Patiya’s Baidyabari.

Boalkhali Police Station OC Abdur Razzak said there were six passengers in the auto-rickshaw. Four of them died on the spot, while another died on the way to the hospital.

The two vehicles, involved in the collision, were seized from the spot.
