Fire breaks out in Bijoynagar

Sun News Desk: A fire broke out in a TV showroom in Bijoynagar area in the capital of Dhaka on Wednesday (August 24, 2022).

The showroom of Hamim Electronics behind Hotel Ekattor caught fire about 6:30 pm, Fire Service and Civil Defence control room duty officer Md Rafi Al Faruk confirmed to mass media.

According to fire service officer, 13 units of the fire extinguishers rushed to the spot and were trying to douse the blaze, he said.

However, the causes of the fire could not be known primarily and no casualty was reported, he added.
