Staff Reporter: Liberation War Affairs Minister AQM Mozammel Haque has said that the final list of freedom fighters will be released on 26 March. The initiallist is scheduled to be released in the first week of February and 30 days stipulated time will be for objection. He further added, "If anyone is excluded from the list , he will bring it to our notice, we will correct it."

AKM Mozammel Haque came up with the remarks at the inaugural ceremony of a newly constructed three-storey building of 38 No Government Primary School, Kaliakair, in Gazipur City Corporation on Saturday (January 9). He was the chief guest there, also present there Colonel (RTD) Muhammad Faruk Khan MP.Khorshed Alam Sarkar, Councilor of Ward No. 13 presided over the ceremony.

Currently, a total of 2,01,461 enlisted freedom fighters are getting honorarium from the government. But 2,51,285 more people claim themselves as freedom fighters.
