Sun News Desk : Five workers were burnt in an explosion at a re-rolling mill in Narayanganj on Saturday.

Burnt Md Saiful Islam, 30, Md Iqbal Hossain, 25, Mohammad Mozammel Haque, 30, Md Jakaria, 20, Md Shariful Islam, 32, are currently undergoing treatment at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery. All are the workers of 'Sharmin Rolling Mill' in Gidnail Sayedpara area.
Rafiqul Islam, another worker of the mill, said "A gas metre exploded at about 3am when they were working, leaving five of them critically injured.

The hospital resident surgeon Toriqul Islam Mozammel and Saiful are in critical condition with 100 and 60 per cent burns respectively. Iqbal, Shariful and Jakaria were admitted to the hospital with 30, 57 and 35 per cent burns."
