Staff reporter : Awami League lawmaker from Dhaka-7 constituency and son of Haji Mohammad Selim, Mohammad Solaiman Salim were arrested from the city's Gulshan area on Wednesday night.

On Thursday (November 14) morning, Kotwali Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Enamul Hasan said former Dhaka-7 MP Solaiman Selim has been arrested. There is no case against him in my police station. However, there is a murder case in Chawkbazar Police Station. We will hand him over to Chawkbazar Police Station in a few moments.

When asked where and when he was arrested, he said that he did not know that. However, senior officers came to the police station on Wednesday midnight and handed him over.
