Dengue Claims 10 More Lives, 1,943 Hospitalised in 24 Hours

Ten more people died of dengue while 1,943 have hospitalised in the past 24 hours on Thursday, bringing the total fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease in the country to 331 this year.

Of the latest fatalities, four were reported in Dhaka South City Corporation, three in Dhaka North City Corporation, two in Chattogram Division and one in Dhaka Division (Out of CC).

During the period, 1,943 more patients were hospitalised with viral fever, raising the total cases to 107,259, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
