Covid in India : detection rate at 2.79%

International Desk: With the ever-increasing fear instilled by the pandemic along with the rise of the dangerous Delta variant, India has been plagued with a constant incline in the amount of Covid cases, facing a total of more than 3 crore Covid deaths.

Around this time, among the 17 lakhs 45 thousand 809 samples tested, the detection rate was reported to be at 2.79%.

This information has been reported by the Indian Ministry of Health Saturday, June 26.

The ministry further mentioned that an astounding 48 thousand six hundred and ninety-eight people have been tested positive in the last 24 hours, with 1 thousand 183 dead from the virus.

Additionally, The Indian Ministry of Health has mentioned of the drop in the total number of active Covid cases has dropped down to stand at 5 lakhs 95 thousand 565, and the total number of patients recovered from the virus to stand at 2 crores 91 lakhs 93 thousand and 85.

A reported 68 thousand 818 patients have been released from the hospital in the past 24 hours.
