The Prime Minister also highlighted the remarkable achievements of Bangladeshi children in sports, both domestically and internationally, since the nation's inception. She credited this success to the visionary actions of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who initiated sending youth teams to countries like Russia, India, and Vietnam for training soon after independence. She emphasized the need to continue building on this legacy and further advance the development of sports in Bangladesh.
