AC bus catches fire

Sun News Desk : An air-conditioned (AC) bus of 'Palmal Group' caught fire at Agargaon in the capital on Thursday.

Around 7:35am, the bus of Palmal Group caught fire while the vehicle was on Agargaon signal. But no causalities were reported as the bus driver and helper managed to get down. There was no passengers at that moment.

On information, two units of Fire Service rushed to the spot and doused the fire.

Fire Service and civil Defence duty officer Lima Khanam, the fire originated in the bus from the electric wire.

Vehicular movement in one side from Agargaon Signal to Link Road was halted. Later, it became normal after the firemen managed to bring the fire under control.
