Sun News Desk: Not Eid, Puja or Christmas. However, government officials and employees are getting three days off before Christmas.

The government officials and employees will get a total of three days off on Friday and Saturday (December 17 and 18), combining the two days of weekly leave with the government holiday of Victory Day on December 16 (Thursday).

This year, government employees have been given a total of 22 days off, including general and executive orders.

The government professionals are very happy to get this three-day leave. Some people are thinking of using this big holiday in various ways.

Crowds of passengers have already been spotted at buses, launches and railway stations due to the holiday. Many are reported to have left Dhaka earlier.

There are others who do not want to leave the current residence in fear of the new variant of Corona Omicron.

However, they are also planning to visit recreation centers with their families.
