The bomber struck near the capital, Freetown, on Friday (November 5th).

The death toll has not been officially announced, but Morgue and local authorities informed through Reuters.

Mohammad Lamrane Bah, director of the country's National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA), said on Saturday that another vehicle collided with a 40-foot-long oil tanker at a busy junction in the capital, Freetown, on Friday. It caught fire after a huge explosion within moments. Many were injured in the tanker explosion. Their condition is serious.

The mayor of the capital said in a statement on his Facebook page that a powerful explosion occurred when a fuel truck collided head-on with another truck on By Bureh Road in Wellington. This is very sad news.

Meanwhile, in the video spread on social media, it is seen that the burnt bodies are scattered around the exploded tanker.
