It said the total number of people infected with the coronavirus in the country has risen to 530,790 from 602 newly identified people in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the total number of deaths from coronavirus in the country has increased to 8,981 with 20 deaths.
According to the Department of Health, 48 more patients have been cured from corona in the last one day. With them, the total number of healthy patients has increased to 4 lakh 65 thousand 571 people so far.
According to the Department of Health, 14,848 samples have been tested in 200 labs across the country in the last 24 hours. So far 35 lakh 30 thousand 264 samples have been tested.
Considering the sample test in 24 hours, the detection rate has come down to 4.18 percent. So far, the total identification rate is 15.4%. The recovery rate is 69.56 percent and the death rate is 1.50 percent.
On the basis of the total population of the country, 3116.28 identified, healthy 2692.36 and death 47.7 per ten lakh identified.
Of those who have died in the last one day, 10 are men and five are women. Of the 15 people who died, 9 were in their fifties. The other six are between 31 and 50 years old.
So far 8,046 men and 1,934 women have died in the country.
The first case of coronavirus was detected in Bangladesh on March 8; It crossed 5 and a quarter lakh on January 14. Of these, 4,019 Kovid-19 patients were identified on July 2 last year, which is the highest in a single day.
