Woman hid mother's corpse in the freezer for 10 years!

International Desk: Preservation of corpses after death is an old history. Earlier, kings used to make mummies and preserve their bodies. However, this time a woman has kept her mother's body in the freezer for 10 years.

The incident took place in Tokyo, Japan.

Police in Japan arrested 48 -years -old on Friday (January 29th) after finding the body of a dead woman inside a freezer in her flat, the BBC reported. The news was published in the local media quoting the police.

Yumi Yoshimo, 48, who was arrested, said she hid her body ten years ago, as she feared that she would be evicted from the flat she shared with her mother in Tokyo.

Police said there were no signs of injuries on the dead woman's body who thought to be aged 60 at the time pf her death. But authorities have yet to determine when and how the woman died.

Yoshimo was forced to leave the flat after missing rent payments. The cleaner who was sent to clean the house later discovered the body in the freezer hidden in a closet.

Police said the woman's body was bent. Yoshimo was arrested at a hotel in Chiba, near the capital, Tokyo.
