The official end of Mujib's year which is on 16th December, the best victory celebration of the commemoration period will be celebrated. The government is moving forward with that plan.
There is a maximum effort to make the event colorful and captivating. Preparations are underway under the supervision of the Cabinet Division under the auspices of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs. This information has been known from the sources of the cabinet department.
It is learned that an inter-ministerial committee has been formed to formulate and implement the national program on the occasion of Victory Day. Akam Mozammel Haque, Minister for Liberation War Affairs, is acting as the convener of the committee as a senior minister in the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Sheikh Hasina's government. Several sub-committees have also been formed on this occasion.
As per the decision, the government has made extensive preparations in this regard. The main event will be a colorful parade of the combined forces, especially at the National Parade Square. Nepal, India, Russia and Mexico will take part. The Indian and Russian war veterans (war veterans) will be invited to visit Bangladesh during the Victory Day program.
This time a colorful parade will be held at 10:30 am at the National Parade Square of Tejgaon Old Airport with the participation of heroic freedom fighters, army, navy, air force, BNCC, Border Guard Bangladesh, Coast Guard, police, RAB, Ansar and VDP and prison guards. At the same time, there will be a special fly-past and aerobatic air show of the Air Force. There will be parachute jumps from the flying helicopter. The President will receive the salute and inspect the parade of the moving mechanical military contingent.
Meanwhile, Foreign Ministry sources said that India recognized Bangladesh as the second country in 1971. Therefore, the two countries will also celebrate the day as Friendship Day. Bangladesh and India will jointly organize the event in the capitals of 18 countries of the world. The list of 18 capitals includes Jakarta, Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Canberra, Tokyo, Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Moscow, London, Brussels, Paris, Geneva, Pretoria, Cairo, Washington and Ottawa.
According to sources, teams from Bhutan, India, Russia and Mexico will come to Dhaka to take part in this Victory Day parade. The Armed Forces Department has invited Bhutan and Mexico to take part in this historic parade, the first countries to recognize India, Russia and Bangladesh as the highest contributors to Bangladesh's great war of independence.
Meanwhile, foreign ministry sources said Indian President Ram Nath Kovind and former (fourth) King Jigme Sing Wangchuck of Bhutan have already been invited to attend the Golden Jubilee of Independence and Bangabandhu's birth centenary celebrations. If all goes well, the guests will visit Dhaka from December 15 to December 17.
It is learned that 7 sub-committees have been formed to celebrate the victory. These are Victory Day Celebration Steering Sub-Committee headed by Secretary, Ministry of Liberation War, Invitation and Reception Sub-Committee headed by Additional Secretary (Administration) of Ministry of Liberation War, GOC of 9th Infantry Division. The sub-committee on publicity convenes the GOC (General Officer Commanding) of the 9th Infantry Division of the Army at Savar, the Armed Greetings and Wreath-laying Sub-Committee at the National Memorial, the Sub-Committee on Evaluation and Placement of Mechanical Fleet and the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner. Police Management Subcommittee.
According to sources in the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Mexico's independence, a contingent of 39 members of the Bangladesh Armed Forces took part in a celebration on 16 September at the invitation of the Mexican government. For this reason, Mexico will also be invited to the victory celebration of Bangladesh.
This time, as part of the parade of joint forces, there will be an exhibition of the mechanical fleet of ministry-based development activities, Council of ministers sources said.
In this regard, the Minister for Liberation War Affairs AK M Mozammel Haque said, the celebration of 100 years of Bangabandhu, 50 years of Bangladesh Victory Day will be interesting and grand.
