Tiger bowling coach Gibson is back

Bangladesh national cricket team's Caribbean bowling coach Otis Gibson has arrived in Dhaka. He arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 9.50 am on Tuesday (September 6). Arriving at 8:40 am, the flight was delayed and arrived a quarter of an hour late.

Although he was scheduled to land in Bangladesh at 08:40 am on Monday (September 6), Gibson could not arrive on time due to flight cancellation.

Almost all the foreign coaching staff of the Bangladesh national cricket team have returned to Dhaka. Gibson arrived in Dhaka last Tuesday.

The coaches will join the practice of the Tigers after completing the 14-day quarantine. Earlier, trainer Nick Lee and physio Julian Callefato arrived in Dhaka. Tigers batting coach Craig Macmillan and spin bowling coach Daniel Vettori will join the Tigers' practice in Sri Lanka directly from New Zealand.

Meanwhile, samples of cricketers were collected on Monday (September 8) for the Corona test. Samples were collected from the cricketers' homes under the management of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). Now waiting for the results.

The cricketers who came in negative will start private practice in Mirpur again from Wednesday.

BCB doctor said. Debashish Chowdhury said a total of 24 samples were collected from house to house on Monday. Of these, 18 are cricketers and the rest are support staff.
