Staff Correspondent: Speaker of Parliament. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury was vaccinated against Covid-19. She was inoculated at Sangsad Medical Center on Sunday (February 14th).
After receiving the vaccine, the speaker said, 'The vaccine is completely safe. Vaccines are being given to save lives. It is important for everyone to get this vaccine.
Senior officials of the Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat and doctors of the medical center were present at the time.
Meanwhile, Army Chief General Aziz Ahmed also got the corona vaccine today. He was vaccinated at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka on the first working day after returning from the United States.
Besides, Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh, Mayor of City Corporation (DSCC) received the vaccine.
The mass immunization program started in Bangladesh on 7th February. Health Minister Zahid Malek inaugurated the mass immunization program through video conference.
