Sourav Ganguly is Fit, Will Leave Hospital on Thursday

Sports Desk: Hospital authorities on Wednesday (December 6) decided to discharge the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as there were no major problems. But Saurabh does not want to go home now. Instead, Dada himself wants to spend another day in the hospital. Though he was supposed to be discharged on Wednesday, the hospital authorities said they would discharge him on Thursday (December 7).

Earlier on Tuesday (January 5), Devi Sethi, a renowned cardiologist who arrived in Kolkata on a special flight, checked former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly and said, “Sourav is now fully fit. If you want you can play cricket now, you can even run a marathon. He can go back to normal life as it was.”

Doctors said he would go home and take rest . He will undergo regular physical check-ups under the supervision of doctors.

On Saturday (January 2) at 1 pm, Sourav Ganguly was admitted to the hospital with chest pain. He was taken to the Woodlands Hospital in South Kolkata. Doctors at the hospital examined and said that Saurabh had suffered a 'mild cardiac arrest'.
