International Desk: Intruders in the India-controlled Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district on the border clashes with the Indian army officers. The casualties occurred in a clash near the Line of Actual Control (LOC) in Machil sector of Kupwara district on Sunday (November 8th). Attempts by terrorists to infiltrate have failed due to the activities of law enforcement agencies.
The officials said the clashes started when the infiltration was prevented. Three terrorists were killed. However, three members, including an Indian Army officer, and a BSF jawan were killed. In addition, two more soldiers were injured in clashes with intruders. Indian officials said the operation was still ongoing in the area.
Indian military officials say more terrorists are trying to infiltrate India across the Kashmir border.
