Joe Biden, The 46th President Of The United States!

International Desk: Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden is very close to winning the White House. He went further than President Donald Trump in some of the battleground states after the vote count on Friday (November 6th).

Election workers in different states are counting the votes. The battle is going on almost everywhere. Despite being ahead, no media or election watchdog has yet declared Biden the winner. However, the election watchdog, Decision Desk, has for the first time announced that the election results are in favor of Joe Biden. They have also named Biden as the 46th president of the United States.

Biden won in Pennsylvania, Decision Desk said in a tweet. There are 20 electoral college votes. Adding 20 Pennsylvania to the previous 253 electoral college votes, they said Biden's potential electoral college votes were 273. 270 electoral college votes are needed to win. Decision Desk also announced that Joe Biden has won as the 46th President of the United States.

Earlier, the Decision Desk reported that Biden had overtaken Trump by a margin of 5,000 votes in the state of Pennsylvania shortly after the postal ballot arrived in Philadelphia. There are still more than one lakh votes left to be counted. They also claim that the rest of the votes will go to Biden.

There is no real possibility of Trump winning in this state. Yet the media and observers are hesitant to announce Joe Biden as the next president, the decision desk said in the tweet. Georgia and Arizona did not comment on the decision. The Associated Press (AP) and Edition Research have not yet named a president.

The New York Times is wary of announcing the name of the winning president. Biden is ahead of Trump in Pennsylvania and Georgia, they said on Friday. Nevada is already in a tough position. Biden is very close to getting the required 270 electoral college votes. According to the New York Times, Biden is leading with 253 electoral college votes. Trump is ahead in 214 electoral college votes.

Georgia has few votes left to count. The New York Times observes that the majority of the remaining votes in Pennsylvania will go to Biden. The votes of foreigners and members of the military have not yet been counted.

According to the AP, Biden is leading with 290 electoral college votes. Trump is ahead at 214.
