Entertainment Desk : Popular actor Waliul Haq Rumi has passed away after battling with colon cancer on monday.

He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Dhaka.
His nephew Foysal Ahmed confirmed the death information.

Rumi had been suffering from colon cancer for a long time. He went to Chennai in India for treatment. After returning home from there, he was receiving treatment at a hospital in the capital.
Rumi started his acting journey in 1988 with the play “Kreetodash”. During the same year, he made his debut in the showbiz industry with the television drama “Kon Kanoner Phool”. In 2009, he made his silver screen debut with the film “Doriaparer Douloti”.
